We specialise in old, unwanted and end-of-life vehicles — including high-kilometre cars, accident-damaged cars, write-offs, unregistered vehicles and cars that no longer run. Sedans, SUVs, utes, vans, 4x4s and light trucks are all welcome. If you're not sure, send the details through anyway; quotes are free and there's no obligation.

Most quotes go out the same day during business hours. The more detail (and photos) you give us in the form, the faster and sharper the offer.

By bank transfer before we take the car anywhere. We make the payment while we're still with you and never take a vehicle without payment being made first. Transfer timing can depend on the banks involved.

Yes. Pickup and car removal are free throughout our Brisbane service area, whether the car drives or not. There are no towing fees, admin fees or hidden charges taken out of your offer.

It depends on the registration status and how the sale is processed. Queensland says an unregistered vehicle can be sold without a safety certificate. For a registered vehicle, the paperwork depends on how the sale is completed. Tell us whether the car is registered and we will confirm what needs to be ready before pickup.

Bring photo ID and proof you own the car — usually the Queensland registration papers, a purchase receipt or another record that identifies the vehicle. Registered and unregistered vehicles have different Queensland requirements, so we confirm the transfer or cancellation steps with you before pickup.

Often, yes. Get a payout figure from your lender and let us know in the form. If our offer covers the payout we can pay the lender directly and transfer the difference to you.

We look at the make, model, year, kilometres and condition, plus what the car is genuinely worth in the current market. The offer we give you is the amount that lands in your account — no fees deducted afterwards and no last-minute renegotiation at pickup unless the car is materially different from what was described.

Carbase serves Brisbane only. We collect throughout the Brisbane CBD and its suburbs, plus outer suburbs within the Brisbane City Council boundary such as Bracken Ridge, The Gap, Moggill, Forest Lake, Calamvale and Wynnum.
